Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee operations supporting distribution, manufacturing, or site services in Lake County. You will ensure compliance with quality, regulatory, and safety standards, supervise staff, and drive continuous improvement across processes and resources.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (preferred) with 5+ years of supervisory experience and the ability to obtain Controlled Drug Agent status. Strong English reading comprehension is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 5 years of related work experience.
• 5+ years supervisory experience.
• Must attain Controlled Drug Agent status via security screening.
• Must read and understand procedures written in English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure area compliance with Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
• Troubleshoot and solve problems with minimal supervision.
• Ensure daily, weekly and monthly assignments are completed per schedule.
• Ensure direct reports are appropriately trained to complete tasks and complete performance reviews.
• Monitor daily operations and provide direction to staff to achieve goals.
• Interact with internal and external customers, meeting regular requests and explaining procedures.
• Develop work schedules for department by assessing priorities, workload and resources.
• Maintain personnel records and reflect actual changes in the database.
• Develop and identify new work processes to improve utilization of resources and participate in continuous improvement.
