Job summary

Viking Electric in La Crosse, WI is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler to move products from the warehouse to customers in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment. You will operate a forklift, pallet jack and handheld scanner, ensuring accurate inventory and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, or up to 75 lbs with assistance.
• Able to stand and walk for long shifts.
• Basic math skills (add/subtract).
• Willingness to learn forklift and handheld scanning device.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and move boxes/material safely with forklift/pallet jack/handheld device.
• Count, check and record items coming in or going out of the warehouse.
• Use a handheld device to scan barcodes and track inventory levels.
• Assemble, package, label, stack and route material for delivery or storage.
• Help keep products organized and undamaged.
• Follow procedures to keep the warehouse safe and secure.
