Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Warehouse Associate at our Naperville distribution center to perform material handling duties and support inbound, outbound, returns, and acquisitions operations. You will use RF scanners, WMS, and voice-picking systems to move merchandise, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Ability to accurately match numerical and alphabetical information.
• Follows established operational, safety, and quality procedures.
• Maintain safe work environment, including safe lifting and handling of merchandise.
• Willingness to learn warehouse systems, RF technology, and operational processes.
• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment (desired).
• Experience operating WMS, RF scanners, or voice-picking equipment (desired).

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, inspect, sort, stock, pick, pack, stage, and ship merchandise accurately and efficiently.
• Match item numbers, quantities, manifests, freight bills, and shipping documentation with physical merchandise.
• Process inbound shipments, outbound orders, returns, acquisitions inventory, and vendor returns per policy.
• Operate RF scanners, handheld devices, voice-picking systems, WMS, and related warehouse tech.
• Store and retrieve merchandise from floor locations, shelving, and reserve areas.
• Load/unload trailers and route trucks, ensuring items are secured and protected.
• Maintain inventory accuracy via scanning, labeling, auditing, staging, and discrepancy resolution.
• Rebox, relabel, sort, and prepare merchandise for shipment or inventory placement.
• Process warranty merchandise, batteries, recalls, non-stock items, and vendor returns per policy.
• Follow hazardous material handling and disposal procedures per safety standards.
• Maintain productivity and accuracy across assigned warehouse tasks and workflows.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
• Identify unsafe conditions and report concerns promptly to leadership.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and quality standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
