• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read and match numbers and letters quickly and accurately.
• Strong mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Locate and pull merchandise by matching item codes and numbers on the pick ticket against part number on the merchandise. Place merchandise in tote or stage bulk items in the appropriate area.
• Label totes for correct store and ensure they do not exceed 60 lbs.
• Maintain DC standards for accuracy and productivity when picking orders.
• Consolidate and pack stock quickly and accurately for efficient customer checking.
• Operate handheld RF units and/or voice picking equipment at WMS DCs.
• Check items off the freight bill as they are loaded and ensure proper totals.
• Load trucks quickly and securely and tie/secure freight.
• Keep work zones stocked, organized, and clean; repair totes as needed.
• Train new team members and communicate procedural updates to staff.
• Maintain safety standards and identify unsafe practices.
