Job summary

Viking Electric, part of the Sonepar family, is hiring a Warehouse Material Handler in Milwaukee, WI. This full-time, second-shift role keeps products moving from our warehouse to customers, with training provided on equipment and safety.

You will load/unload trucks, count and label items, scan barcodes, and help maintain an orderly, safe facility. We offer comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities within a leading electrical distributor.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly; up to 75 lbs with assistance.
• Stand and walk for much of your shift.
• Basic math skills.
• Willingness to learn forklift and handheld scanner.
• Able to work in warehouse temperatures.
• Authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks using a forklift or similar device.
• Count, check and record items in and out of the warehouse.
• Use handheld scanner to capture barcodes and track inventory levels.
• Assemble, package, label, stack and route material for delivery or storage.
• Keep products damage-free and organized.
• Follow procedures to maintain warehouse safety and security.
