Job summary

RK Logistics Group is seeking a Material Handler to move and track materials in our Texas facility. You will operate forklifts and hand trucks, scan with RF devices, and ensure accurate receiving and staging of goods.

The role requires basic computer skills, 0–2 years in logistics, and a willingness to learn LEAN methods. Safe work practices and timely communication are essential for daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 0–2 years of warehouse and logistics experience.
• 1–2 years forklift experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn LEAN principles; training provided.
• Strong communication and math/writing skills.
• Basic computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Prior experience with inventory control is preferred.
• Excellent time management.

Responsibilities

• Use hand trucks, pallet jacks and other equipment to move material.
• Unload inbound products; load outbound items.
• Weigh, measure, receive and verify products for accuracy.
• Conduct stock checks, cycle counts and inventory reconciliation.
• Prepare and stage orders; ensure proper shipping documents.
• Cross-train and assist with other warehouse functions.
