Job summary

RK Logistics Group is seeking a Material Handler to process parts through the warehouse and WMS, operating forklifts and other equipment to move items and support inbound/outbound activities.

You will perform receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping tasks while maintaining accurate inventory and safe, clean work areas. Strong attention to detail and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 0-2 years’ Warehouse and Logistics experience.
• 1-2 years’ forklift experience preferred.
• LEAN principles (5S/7S) training provided.
• Great communication skills.
• Understanding of logistics, shipping, receiving, and standard work instruction protocols.
• Strong math and writing skills.
• Basic computer skills with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Prior experience with Inventory control preferred.
• Excellent time management

Responsibilities

• Use hand trucks, dollies, pallet jacks and other equipment to move material in the warehouse-storage facility.
• Unload inbound products and load outbound materials.
• Weigh products and take measurements; verify product accuracy.
• Receive, unpack, check, and verify product for accuracy.
• Use handheld RF tools to receive, pick, stock check, and ship in WMS.
• Conduct stock checks, cycle counts, and support physical inventory.
• Label parts during receipt, put away, picking or shipping.
• Pick parts for order fulfillment and shipments.
• Stage completed orders or shipments in staging area.
• Ensure proper delivery documents accompany orders.
• Inform supervisor of OSD findings; check QB for inquiries.
