Job summary

RK Logistics Group is seeking a detail-oriented Material Handler to move materials and manage records within our warehouse using RF tools and WMS. You will unload inbound products, verify accuracy, and assist with inventory management while adhering to safety and quality standards.

The role requires basic computer skills and forklift experience, with opportunities to learn LEAN methodologies and participate in cycle counts and documentation processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 0-2 years’ Warehouse and Logistics experience.
• 1-2 years’ forklift experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn LEAN principles (training provided).
• Strong communication skills.
• Understanding of logistics, shipping, receiving, and standard work instruction protocols.
• Strong math and writing skills.
• Basic computer skills with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Prior inventory control experience preferred.
• Excellent time management.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks and other equipment to move material within warehouse.
• Unload inbound products and load outbound shipments.
• Weigh and measure products and verify dimensions.
• Receive, unpack and verify products for accuracy.
• Use RF tools to receive, pick, stock check and ship in WMS.
• Conduct stock checks and cycle counts; support inventory.
• Label parts during receipt, put away, picking or shipping.
• Pick parts for orders and shipments; stage orders for dispatch.
• Ensure proper shipping documents accompany orders.
• Inform supervisor about any overages, shortages, or damage found.
• Process RAM and other warehouse data entries for inbound/outbound.
