Job summary

J&L Building Materials is seeking a Material Handler at its Landisville, PA branch. You will prepare orders from stock, load materials onto trucks, and maintain safe, efficient warehouse operations while delivering on-site customer service.

Starting rate is $18.50 per hour. Benefits include medical/dental/vision coverage, a 401K with employer match after 6 months, paid time off, and profit sharing. Core hours are 6:30 AM–4:30 PM, with occasional Saturday shifts after training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1 year warehouse experience or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and accurately fill material requests.
• Operate forklift to load/unload and transport materials; perform safety checks.
• Sort and store materials by size/type; rotate stock.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and participate in inventories.
• Work 40 hours per week with occasional Saturday shifts after training.
