Job summary

thyssenkrupp Materials, LLC in Auburn, WA seeks a Warehouse Forklift Operator to move materials, load and unload trucks, and stock inventory on the warehouse floor. You will use a forklift and other equipment, and perform routine quality checks under supervision.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and forklift experience. The role requires physical lift up to 70 lbs and adherence to safety standards on site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and write English (French in Quebec).
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs for 100 ft.
• Ability to perform basic math skills.
• Previous forklift experience.
• Must be able to sit for long periods and perform bending, twisting, squatting, reaching and grasping motions.
• Safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Move raw materials, finished products, and equipment on the warehouse floor using a forklift.
• Load/unload trucks and verify items loaded/unloaded.
• Stock and pick products per inventory plan; process and package orders; may cut orders on Kaltenbach saw.
• Complete cycle counts and segregate defective material.
• Inspect forklift at start of shift and report issues; participate in safety initiatives.
• Support other duties as needed by supervisor or team lead.
