Job summary

thyssenkrupp Supply Chain Services is seeking a warehouse associate responsible for moving raw materials, finished products, and equipment using a forklift truck. The role operates under direct supervision and handles basic issues and problems on the warehouse floor around heavy machinery.

Key duties include loading/unloading trucks, selecting and packing orders, performing cycle counts, and ensuring safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and write English; in Quebec, French reading/writing required.
• Lift and carry up to 70 lbs for 100 feet.
• Basic math skills.
• Previous forklift experience.
• Must sit for long periods and perform bending, twisting, squatting, reaching and grasping motions.
• Safety mindset required.

Responsibilities

• Move and transport goods using forklift and other equipment as needed.
• Accurately remove, stock, pick, process, and pack products per inventory plan.
• Load and unload trucks; verify correct items are loaded/unloaded.
• Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate paperwork per work instructions.
• Inspect forklift at start of shift and report issues to supervisor.
• Support health, safety, ISO, and 6S initiatives and requirements.
• Work on warehouse floor around heavy machinery.
