Job summary

thyssenkrupp Materials Services in Park City, KS is seeking a forklift operator to move raw materials, finished goods, and equipment on the warehouse floor. You will also select, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, while verifying items against paperwork and loading/unloading trucks.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, English literacy, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Prior forklift experience is preferred; strong safety mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Ability to read and write English; French not required unless specified.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs for 100 feet.
• Ability to perform basic math and understand work instructions.
• Previous forklift experience preferred; able to sit/stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Move raw materials, finished products and equipment on the warehouse floor.
• Select and package items for customer orders; ensure correct items.
• Load/unload trucks and verify items match orders.
• Perform cycle counts and identify defective material.
• Inspect forklift and report issues; maintain safety and housekeeping.
• Support health, safety, ISO, and 6S initiatives; assist as needed.
