Job summary

Welch Packaging is seeking a dependable forklift operator to join our warehouse team in Indianapolis. You will operate clamp truck and forklift equipment to company standards, receive rollstock and raw materials, unload/load trucks and rail cars, and help keep the warehouse organized and efficient.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean work area, following safety procedures, reading production schedules, and collaborating with other forklift drivers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Prior forklift experience required.
• Must pass basic forklift and clamp truck training.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Ability to read tape measures and perform basic calculations.

Responsibilities

• Operate clamp truck and forklift to company standards.
• Receive raw materials and unload/load trucks and rail cars.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
• Follow safety and LOTO procedures.
• Communicate with team and report unsafe conditions.
