Job summary

Welch Packaging Group Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Operator for 1st and 2nd shifts in Bridgeview, IL. The role involves operating fork lift and clamp truck equipment, receiving rollstock and raw materials, and loading/unloading trucks and rail cars according to company procedures.

You will help maintain warehouse organization, assist other team members, and ensure accurate handling of materials while adhering to safety standards and production schedules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Prior forklift experience.
• Must pass basic forklift and clamp truck training.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Ability to read tape measures and perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Operate clamp truck and forklift to company standards.
• Receive rollstock and other raw materials per procedures.
• Unload and load trucks and rail cars as necessary.
• Operate Bander, Hand Bander, and Conveyor Line as needed.
• Assist Material Handlers, Shipping Personnel, Clamp Drivers and keep warehouse organized.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow OSHA requirements.
