Job summary

Welch Packaging is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our Indianapolis-area team at the 4200 Industrial Blvd facility. This role is responsible for safely operating forklifts to move, locate, load, and unload materials within the warehouse and production areas, supporting efficient operations and teamwork.

The ideal candidate will have forklift experience, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to read production schedules.

Qualifications

• Prior forklift experience required.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Ability to read tape measures and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to unload and load trucks and rail cars.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and report unsafe conditions.
• Follow plant procedures and production schedules; communicate with shifts.
