Job summary

SRC Holdings Corp. is seeking a dependable Material Handler to organize, sort, and move core material in the warehouse to meet production timelines. You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, load/unload materials, and maintain an organized work area with safety as a priority.

Starting at $17.00/hour, full-time schedule Monday–Thursday 5AM–3:30PM. Must lift up to 50 lbs and read work orders accurately to determine material needs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Competent oral and written communication skills
• Competent addition and subtraction math skills
• Competent literacy skills to accurately read tags without transposing part numbers

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all warehouse safety guidelines, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements to prevent incidents or injury to self or others
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs
• Move freight, stock, and other materials to and from staging and processing areas using a forklift and/or pallet jack in the warehouse
• Load and unload materials from inspection lines and other processing areas while periodically using a hoist
• Determine placement of material based on labels or other markings
• Collect, sort, and properly dispose of or coordinate the re-use of packaging, trash, and other materials that accumulate throughout the loading and unloading process
• Maintain an organized and clean work area
• Perform other duties as assigned
