Job Summary

The Material Handler supports warehouse operations and may be assigned to either Inbound or Outbound based on business needs.

Inbound responsibilities may include unloading, checking in, and stocking new inventory. Outbound responsibilities may include picking, consolidating, packing, and shipping customer orders. All tasks must be completed efficiently and accurately to support smooth warehouse operations.

This position requires the use of internal warehouse systems and various warehouse equipment, which may include Powered Industrial Trucks. Cross-training may be required based on operational needs. On-site training and mentoring are provided.

• Unload live domestic deliveries from trailers using forklift equipment, or unload import containers by hand
• Use our internal systems to systematically receive inventory accurately and efficiency, ready to be placed in storage racking
• Move palletized product using forklift equipment to organize the receiving dock, or transport product to other areas of the Distribution center
• Scan and place inventory in racking locations using forklift equipment and a handheld scanning device, ready for warehouse operations
• Maintain inventory by replenishing stock, verifying product accuracy, and supporting efficient warehouse operations
• Manage overstock, investigate discrepancies, adjusting inventory records, and completing routine inventory control tasks and reporting
• Sort and consolidate picked items using handheld scanning devices, preparing customer orders for shipment processing
• Pack products accurately and securely using our internal SPS system or CVP machines, focusing on providing an excellent customer experience
• Bundle and verify orders for shipment, ensure order accuracy, and operate the bundler system
• Load and stack packages into designated trailers, verify carriers, move palletized products as needed, and manage trailer lockout procedures
• Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners, and computers, following all established protocols and promoting safe working standards
• Meet all expected performance standards regarding efficiency, accuracy and quality of work
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all safety guidelines and reporting any hazards to the appropriate leadership
• Work closely with team members and leadership to meet daily, weekly, and monthly departmental goals
• Abide by all company and warehouse policies
• Flex into other positions and departments and undertake additional duties as necessary to support the overall operation

WAGE

Starting Wage is $23.50/hr, with the potential raise every 6 months of up to $0.88.
