Job summary

WebstaurantStore is seeking a Material Handler to efficiently receive, put away, pick, and ship products in a fast-paced warehouse in Dayton, NV. You will use handheld scanners, forklifts, and internal systems, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and safety.

The role includes a Friday-Monday shift from 7:00am to 5:30pm. Starting wage is $25/hr with potential raises every 6 months up to $0.88, contingent on performance and company policy.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve items from racking accurately and efficiently using handheld scanning devices and forklift equipment
• Sort and consolidate picked items using handheld scanners and prepare customer orders for shipment
• Pack products securely using SPS system or CVP machines with attention to customer experience
• Bundle and verify orders for shipment and operate the bundler system
• Unload deliveries from trailers using forklift or by hand for import containers
• Receive inventory accurately using the internal system and place it in storage racking
• Move palletized product with pallet jacks/forklifts to organize receiving dock and transfer to distribution areas
• Scan and place inventory in racking locations for warehouse operations
• Maintain inventory by replenishing stock and verifying product accuracy
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners and computers following safety protocols
• Meet daily, weekly, and monthly performance goals
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment by following safety guidelines and reporting hazards
• Collaborate with team members and leadership to achieve department goals
• Adhere to all company and warehouse policies
• Flex into other positions to support overall operation

Job Summary

Material Handlers are responsible for efficiently and accurately receiving product and shipping orders, ensuring they are processed, put away, picked, and shipped in a timely and secure manner. This position requires use of our internal warehouse systems and various warehouse equipment, which may include Powered Industrial Trucks. You will be expected to work at a fast pace, be attentive to detail, willing to work hard with a good attitude, and be able to embrace change. Material Handlers are given extensive training for success in their position and cross-training opportunities may be required. We offer on-site training and mentoring for all positions. SHIFT SCHEDULES & WAGE

• C-Shift - Friday-Monday from 7:00am to 5:30pm

• Sort and consolidate picked items using handheld scanning devices, preparing customer orders for shipment processing
• Pack products accurately and securely using our internal SPS system or CVP machines, focusing on providing an excellent customer experience
• Bundle and verify orders for shipment, ensure order accuracy, and operate the bundler system
• Unload live domestic deliveries from trailers using forklift equipment, or unload import containers by hand
• Use our internal system to systematically receive inventory accurately and efficiency, ready to be placed in storage racking
• Move palletized product using pallet jacks/forklift equipment to organize the receiving dock, or transport product to other areas of the distribution center
• Scan and place inventory in racking locations using forklift equipment and a handheld scanning device, ready for warehouse operations
• Maintain inventory by replenishing stock, verifying product accuracy, and supporting efficient warehouse operations
• Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners, and computers, following all established protocols and promoting safe working standards
• Meet all expected performance standards regarding efficiency, accuracy and quality of work
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all safety guidelines and reporting any hazards to the appropriate leadership.
• Work closely with team members and leadership to meet daily, weekly, and monthly departmental goals
• Abide by all company and warehouse policies
• Flex into other positions and departments and undertake additional duties as necessary to support the overall operation
