WebstaurantStore is seeking a Material Handler to support receiving, put-away, picking, and shipping in a fast-paced distribution center. You will operate ERP systems and handheld scanners, use forklifts and pallet jacks, and work with a team to meet daily goals.

Starting at $20.00/hr with potential raises every 6 months, the role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and a positive attitude. On-site training and mentoring are provided to ensure success.

Qualifications

• Experience operating ERP systems and scanners in a warehouse.
• Ability to work at a fast pace while maintaining accuracy.
• Experience with forklift equipment and pallet jacks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve items from racking accurately using handheld devices and ERP system.
• Sort and consolidate picked items for shipment processing.
• Pack products securely using internal systems to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Bundle and verify orders for shipment and operate bundling equipment.
• Unload deliveries with forklift or by hand as needed.
• Receive inventory in ERP and place in storage racking.
• Move palletized products with pallet jacks or forklifts to the receiving dock.
• Scan and place inventory in racking locations and follow safety protocols.
• Operate warehouse equipment and meet performance standards for accuracy and efficiency.

Job Summary

Material Handlers are responsible for efficiently and accurately receiving product and shipping orders, ensuring they are processed, put away, picked, and shipped in a timely and secure manner. This position requires use of our internal warehouse systems and various warehouse equipment, which may include Powered Industrial Trucks. You will be expected to work at a fast pace, be attentive to detail, willing to work hard with a good attitude, and be able to embrace change. Material Handlers are given extensive training for success in their position and cross-training opportunities may be required. We offer on-site training and mentoring for all positions. SHIFT SCHEDULE & WAGE

• Monday-Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Starting wage is $20.00/hr and a potential of up to $0.88 in raises every 6 months

Responsibilities

• Retrieve items from racking accurately and efficiently, using our handheld scanning devices and ERP system, completed on foot or using forklift equipment
• Sort and consolidate picked items using handheld scanning devices, preparing customer orders for shipment processing
• Pack products accurately and securely using our internal SPS system or CVP machines, focusing on providing an excellent customer experience
• Bundle and verify orders for shipment, ensure order accuracy, and operate the bundler system
• Unload live domestic deliveries from trailers using forklift equipment, or unload import containers by hand
• Use our ERP system to systematically receive inventory accurately and efficiency, ready to be placed in storage racking
• Move palletized product using pallet jacks/forklift equipment to organize the receiving dock, or transport product to other areas of the distribution center
• Scan and place inventory in racking locations using forklift equipment and a handheld scanning device, ready for warehouse operations
• Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners, and computers, following all established protocols and promoting safe working standards
• Meet all expected performance standards regarding efficiency, accuracy and quality of work
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all safety guidelines and reporting any hazards to the appropriate leadership.
• Work closely with team members and leadership to meet daily, weekly, and monthly departmental goals
• Abide by all company and warehouse policies
• Flex into other positions and departments and undertake additional duties as necessary to support the overall operation
