Job summary

Evergreen Goodwill of Northwest Washington is seeking a Material Handler in Seattle to unload donations and move goods to production areas. The position is outdoors/warehouse with a pay rate of $21.30 per hour and requires safety consciousness and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• No prior experience required for entry level.
• Applicants must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Remove and sort salvage material and garbage from salable goods.
• Sort donations into appropriate bins for processing.
• Provide a smooth flow of goods to the production floor.
• Use cardboard compactors when certified to Seattle Goodwill standards and identify problems.
• Maintain donor tallies and a clean work environment.
• Demonstrate safe work practices and report hazards or accidents.
