Job summary

CS Power Systems, a division of Canadian Solar, seeks a Material Handler in Jeffersonville, IN, to move, store and stage materials on a 12-hour shift. You will handle inventory, operate material handling equipment, and support safe, efficient warehouse workflows.

Responsibilities include receiving, picking, packing, cycle counts and keeping a 5S-compliant workspace. Prior warehouse experience and basic computer skills are preferred; forklift certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs.
• Prior warehouse/logistics or material handling experience preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and transport materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
• Accurately pick, pack, and stage materials for production or shipment.
• Receive incoming shipments and verify against purchase orders or documentation.
• Perform inventory transactions using warehouse management systems (WMS) or handheld scanners.
• Maintain proper material organization and storage locations.
• Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory audits.
• Ensure materials are labeled, stored, and handled according to company procedures.
• Monitor and replenish stock levels to support operational needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment (5S standards).
• Follow safety policies, including proper PPE use and equipment operation.
• Communicate with team members, supervisors, and other departments.
• Identify and report discrepancies, damages, or process issues.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• All other duties as assigned.

Job Title: Material Handler – Material Center and Warehouse Operator. Department: Warehouse and Material Center. Reports To: Warehouse and Material Center Supervisor. Location: Jeffersonville, IN.

Job Summary:
