Job summary

AdeptHR is seeking a reliable Warehouse Associate in Port Wentworth, GA to join our fulfillment team. You will be the engine of daily operations, handling picking, packing, and shipping with a mix of human teamwork and robotics.

This is a physically active role requiring stamina and the ability to work early shifts starting at 6:00 AM, with overtime at 5:00 AM when needed. Safety and accuracy are critical as you rotate across tasks, including robot-assisted picking and loading/unloading duties.

Qualifications

• Standing and walking 8–10 hours per shift in a hot warehouse.
• Able to safely lift, push, pull and carry warehouse materials, including pallet handling.
• Willing to rotate between tasks and support multiple departments as needed.
• Reliable attendance with ability to start shifts at 6:00 AM (5:00 AM during overtime).

Role Overview

We are looking for a reliable and adaptable Warehouse Associate to join our fulfillment team. In this role, you will be the engine of our daily operations, ensuring that products are processed, packed, and shipped to our customers accurately and on time. Working in our facility, you will experience a modern warehouse environment where human teamwork integrates with robotics to keep our supply chain moving.

Schedule and Work Environment

To set you up for success, it is important to understand the daily schedule and the physical environment of our facility:

• Regular Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM.
• Overtime Shift: When business demands require overtime, the schedule will adjust to 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
• The Environment: This is a high-energy, active warehouse. The facility is not climate-controlled, meaning it can get very hot during summer months. You will be on your feet, walking and standing, for the entirety of your shift.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Our warehouse relies on cross-training and flexibility. You will rotate across different tasks depending on the day's inventory and shipping needs. Your main tasks will include:

• Picking and Packing: Retrieving items to fill orders and packing them securely for shipment.
• Robot-Assisted Picking: Working alongside our automated retrieval robots. You will pick orders as the robots bring them to your station and place the items onto shelves or conveyor belts.
• Loading and Unloading: Assisting with loading and unloading inventory at various points in the warehouse, which includes strapping and unstrapping pallets to ensure safe transport.
• Labeling: Verifying order details and adhering packing slips and shipping labels to outgoing cartons.
• Team Rotation: Being ready to step in where needed. This includes occasionally supporting our Heavy Hands team with container unloading, which is highly physical work, or assisting other departments based on daily business volumes.

During your first few weeks, success means arriving on time for your shifts, learning our safety protocols, and getting comfortable working alongside our robotics system. Over time, successful associates develop a strong rhythm, maintaining high accuracy in picking and packing while adapting easily when asked to switch between different tasks. Your reliability, attention to detail, and positive attitude when supporting your teammates are what will make you stand out.

What You Bring (Must-Haves)

• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for a full 8-to-10-hour shift and work comfortably in a hot warehouse environment.
• Strength and Mobility: Ability to safely lift, push, pull, and carry warehouse materials, including assisting with pallet strapping and container unloading.
• Flexibility: Readiness to rotate between tasks daily and help out in different departments as operational needs change.
• Reliability: A track record of dependable attendance and the ability to consistently start shifts at 6:00 AM (or 5:00 AM during overtime periods).
• Communication: Ability to read instructions, follow safety guidelines, and work cooperatively with a diverse team.
