Responsibilities

• Move materials, supplies, and finished products throughout the facility using a hand truck or other equipment as assigned.

• Load finished products onto pallets or hand trucks.
• Stack pallets and skids in designated storage or staging areas.
• Pick and pack customer orders accurately.
• Build displays and prepare merchandise according to specifications.
• Apply price stickers and labels to products.
• Label shipments according to company and customer requirements.
• Pick, check, sort, consolidate, wrap, pack, and load freight for shipment.
• Complete shipment confirmations and other required paperwork or system entries.

Material Handler – 1st Shift

Pay Rate: $18/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Overtime: Occasional overtime and weekend work may be required

Job Summary

We are looking for a dependable Material Handler to join our warehouse team on 1st shift. This position is responsible for moving, preparing, and organizing materials and finished products throughout the facility. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, comfortable with physical work, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

This position will also assist with building displays, applying price stickers, labeling shipments, and preparing customer orders.

Responsibilities

• Move materials, supplies, and finished products throughout the facility using a hand truck or other equipment as assigned
• Load and unload freight safely and efficiently
• Load finished products onto pallets or hand trucks
• Stack pallets and skids in designated storage or staging areas
• Pick and pack customer orders accurately
• Build displays and prepare merchandise according to specifications
• Apply price stickers and labels to products
• Label shipments according to company and customer requirements
• Pick, check, sort, consolidate, wrap, pack, and load freight for shipment
• Complete shipment confirmations and other required paperwork or system entries
• Verify freight accuracy and inspect products for damage
• Use RF scanners to assist with inventory and order accuracy
• Assist with physical inventories and cycle counts
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Sweep floors, remove trash, and assist with general housekeeping as needed
• Follow all company safety and housekeeping procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous warehouse or material handling experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding warehouse environment
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
• Ability to frequently bend, stoop, squat, crouch, climb, stretch, and reach
• Ability to work in varying noise, lighting, and temperature conditions
• Basic computer or RF scanner experience is a plus
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
