Job summary

American Electric Power (AEP) is seeking a Storeroom/Material Services associate to assist with material accountability, storeroom operations, and storage yard management. You will handle issuing materials, inspect receipts, and maintain records, while using Maximo and MS Office tools.

The role requires at least a year in inventory-related work, ability to lift up to 70 pounds, and a valid state license. CDL may be required within six months.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of one year in inventory control, material handling, warehousing, or related area.
• Basic computer skills including inventory software such as Maximo; Excel and Word preferred.

Responsibilities

• Issue material with proper authorization and process records.
• Check received material, inspect identity and condition, and process receipts.
• Operate material handling equipment and prepare items for shipment or storage.
