Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • At least 1 year in inventory control/material handling/warehousing.
  • Basic computer skills; Maximo experience preferred; Excel/Word preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds; PAT required.
  • Must have valid state driver's license; CDL may be required within 6 months.

Responsibilities

  • Issue material with proper authorization and process records.
  • Check received material for quantity and inspect identity, breakage, and condition.
  • Identify, sort and record returned material; stock usable items.
  • Operate inventory management system and office equipment.
  • Prepare and pack material for shipment or storage; handle hazardous materials when required.
  • Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, hand trucks, etc.).
  • Maintain storage efficiency and adjust bins/racks as needed.
  • Conduct inventory cycle counts and discrepancy adjustments.
  • Follow safety rules and company policies in all duties.
