Job summary

Aerotek is hiring for a 2nd Shift Warehouse Material Handler in Garden Grove, CA. This contract-to-hire role focuses on inbound/outbound shipments, accurate order fulfillment, and inventory management in a clean, large manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include unloading deliveries with forklift, supporting material moves for quality inspection, and assisting with outbound shipments. Onsite position with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting warehouse and production functions within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, preferably in automotive, aerospace, or other related industries.
• Familiarity with spreadsheets such as Excel or Google Sheets.
• Ability to analyze complex problems, identify root cause issues, and recommend solutions.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and other systems for creating work instructions.
• Strong oral and written English communication skills.

• Provide assistance to employees when preparing outbound parcel and freight shipments processed through the appropriate Shipment Request form.
• Assist the Shipping & Receiving and Production Control teams with clearing out dunnage and removing empty boxes and crates from the inbound dock.

This role is responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment, and maintaining inventory records. It plays a critical part in the supply chain by ensuring materials, parts, and products are received, stored, and shipped efficiently.

Work Environment

Work the 2nd shift from 4pm to 12:30am, Monday through Friday, in a large, very clean manufacturing environment. The facility specializes in manufacturing medium-duty electric vehicles.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Garden Grove, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $29.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
