The Warehouse Manager collaborates with leadership to oversee all activities related to receiving, storing, inventory management, and distribution of goods required by operating departments. Responsibilities include managing the physical receipt of deliveries, which involves unloading trucks and trailers at onsite, offsite, and service lot warehouse locations, and transferring inventory as needed. This also includes inspecting receipts to ensure specifications are met.
Responsibilities
- Assist with and oversee the stocking of goods within designated locations and liaise with Inventory Control regarding electronic receipts.
- Coordinate the delivery of stock items from various warehouse locations to the Casino floor based on transfer requests.
- Identify, research, resolve inventory issues, and communicate findings.
- Perform regular inventory cycle counts for bin locations.
- Maintain the inventory system for all movements into and out of warehouse locations.
- Place orders regularly based on established par levels within the inventory system.
- Manage staff of receiving and warehouse attendants.
- Obtain and maintain a valid license as required by the State Gaming Agency.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Proficiency in data entry and routine administrative tasks.
- Ability to work under time pressures.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret departmental needs and results.
- Ability to read, check, count, and verify numbers accurately.
- Knowledge of postal or commercial shipping methods and safety procedures.
- Understanding of Alcohol Beverage Control laws, health regulations, OSHA, and gaming regulations.
- Leadership skills to guide and train employees.
- Experience with AS400 / Stratton-Warren inventory systems is beneficial.
Qualifications
Must-Haves:
- Five years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse techniques, supervising people and processes.
- Two-year degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Must meet DOT medical and driving qualification standards, including obtaining a valid DOT medical card within 30 days.
- Forklift experience or willingness to gain certification.
- Proficiency in English (reading, writing, understanding).
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by regulatory entities.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in high places and confined spaces, including climbing ladders and crawling into tight areas.
- Ability to hear or read warnings and instructions.
- Stand/walk up to 7.5 hours per shift.
- Manual dexterity to operate equipment.
- Ascend/descend stairs as needed.
- Perform heavy physical work, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Work environment involves exposure to potentially dangerous materials and elements requiring safety precautions.
