Job description

This position reports directly to the Department Manager and involves supervising daily operations within the assigned department. Key duties include training lead associates, maintaining records and inventory, ensuring HACCP compliance, and coordinating with other departments.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Communicating and coordinating daily departmental objectives.
  2. Training lead personnel on job requirements and supervisory responsibilities.
  3. Ensuring all employees are trained and understand the processes.
  4. Collaborating with management and staff to address departmental issues and improve standards.
  5. Preparing required reports and documenting resolution steps.
  6. Managing employee timesheets, schedules, and adherence to policies.
  7. Conducting employee evaluations and disciplinary actions in coordination with HR.
  8. Representing the department at meetings and company activities.

Qualifications include:

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent food industry knowledge.
  • 3-5 years of food industry experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • HACCP certification.
  • Knowledge of USDA regulations.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
