Overview
The Warehouse Manager works with leadership to manage all activities related to receiving, storing, inventory management and the distribution of goods required by operating departments. Manage the physical receiving process for all deliveries made, including unloading trucks and trailers at onsite, offsite, and service lot warehouse locations, and transferring inventory as needed. This includes physical inspection of receipts to ensure specifications are maintained.

Responsibilities (Text Only)
Where You'll Make an Impact:

• Assist and oversee the stocking of goods within designated locations. Liaise with Inventory Control personnel regarding electronic receipts.
• Coordinate the delivery of all stock items from various warehouse locations to the Casino floor based on transfer requests received.
• Identify, quantify, research, and resolve inventory issues as they arise, and communicate the results.
• Perform regular inventory cycle counts for bin locations.
• Maintain the Inventory system based on all movement into/out of warehouse locations.
• Place orders regularly based on par levels established within the inventory system.
• Manage staff of receiving/warehouse attendants.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid license as determined by the State Gaming Agency for the position.
• Other duties as assigned

Skills To Help You Succeed
- Ability to input data on computer to create daily inventory reports and handle routine administrative paperwork.
- Ability to perform duties under frequent time pressures.
- Analyze and interpret departmental needs and results.
- Ability to read, sort, check, count, and verify numbers.
- Knowledge of postal or commercial shipping methods and procedures.
- Ability to understand and follow safety procedures.
- Knowledge of Alcohol Beverage Control laws, Health regulations, OSHA, and Gaming regulations.
- Ability to lead, guide, and train employees.
- Experience with AS400 / Stratton-Warren inventory systems beneficial.

Qualifications
Must-Haves:

• Five years’ experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse techniques, supervising people and processes.
• Two-year degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Must meet all Department of Transportation (DOT) medical and driving qualification standards, including obtaining a valid DOT medical card within 30 days of employment.
• Previous forklift experience preferred or willingness to gain certification through Live! Casino and Hotel.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• High school diploma or GED required before enrolling in an apprentice training program.
• Ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by Virginia Gaming Control Board or other regulatory entities.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in high places and cramped spaces, climb ladders, crawl into confined areas, and perform physical activities including lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to hear/read warnings and instructions.
- Stand/walk up to 7.5 hours per shift.
- Use of stairs and elevators.
- Exposure to potentially dangerous materials and environments requiring safety precautions.
