Job summary

DH Pace Company, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Manager in Topeka, Kansas to oversee receiving, storage, and distribution operations, ensuring accuracy and on-time order processing for customers.

You will optimize warehouse layout, supervise staff, manage inventory with ERP systems, monitor safety, support annual budgeting, and coordinate with internal teams and customers to resolve issues promptly. The role requires a minimum of three years in warehouse leadership, a valid driver’s

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in managing receiving, warehousing, materials management, and distribution operations
• Ability to work with technical software for warehousing and material management
• Ability to safely lift up to 100 pounds
• High school diploma or GED
• Driver’s license required

Responsibilities

• Comply with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements and advise senior management on actions.
• Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing security procedures.
• Purchase materials and control inventory levels; conduct cycle counts and reconcile with ERP systems.
• Maintain warehouse layout and equipment; inspect, repair, and requisition as needed; emphasize safety.
• Prepare annual budget, monitor expenditures and variances, and take corrective actions.
• Complete daily and weekly warehouse operational requirements.
• Monitor and inform customers about order status, stock, or substitutions; handle special orders with accuracy.
• Interact with customers by phone/in-person to ensure accurate order processing and retention.
• Other responsibilities as assigned
