Job summary

DH Pace Company, Inc. seeks a General Manager to lead and grow the Topeka market. You will direct Service and Install departments, drive schedules, budgets, and customer satisfaction, while developing the local team and ensuring operational excellence.

The role requires a strong track record in personnel management, strategic planning, and financial oversight, with a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience managing personnel; preferably with a Service Organization.
• Must possess a Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment with deadlines and strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of Service and Install Departments.
• Plan, manage and implement schedules to meet daily customer commitments.
• Review workload and manpower to meet commitments cost-effectively.
• Ensure install projects are completed timely, within budget, and to customer satisfaction.
• Participate in annual budgeting for departments and execution plans.
• Deliver return on sales that exceed budget forecast for the unit(s).
• Review monthly financial/operational reports and develop improvement action plans.
• Improve field force performance through regular reviews and coaching.
• Enhance safety by enforcing the safety program and driving safety culture.
• Improve warranty performance by root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Improve customer survey scores by addressing issues and building relationships.
• Assist with hiring, training, and developing new employees.
• Lead effective field meetings and collaborate with management.
