Description

Maintains receiving, warehousing, and operations by coordinating policies and procedures, ensuring safety, and managing personnel and inventory.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations
• Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization
• Coordinate and enforce operational policies and procedures
• Ensure adherence to warehousing, handling, and shipping requirements
• Maintain health, safety, hygiene, and security standards
• Manage stock control and reconcile with data systems
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and transport companies
• Plan work rotations, assign tasks, and evaluate results
• Maintain a safe work environment and enforce safety procedures
• Coordinate with supervisors and managers on operations
• Keep records of employee attendance and hours
• Analyze charts, work orders, and schedules to determine production needs
• Maintain operations data and prepare management reports
• Set standards, budgets, and production goals based on company policies and resources

Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience in warehouse operations in a supervisory role
• Must pass background check and drug screening
• Experience with warehouse management software and databases
• Leadership and staff management skills
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills
• Inventory management skills
• Ability to perform under pressure and adapt quickly
• Proficiency with computers and internet
• Manual dexterity to operate equipment and tools
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 75 lbs

Education
