Description

Maintains receiving and warehousing operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing operational and personnel policies and procedures. Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security and safety protocols.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations
• Set up layout and ensure efficient space utilization
• Initiate, coordinate, and enforce operational policies and procedures
• Ensure staff adherence to warehousing, handling, and shipping requirements
• Maintain health, safety, hygiene, and security standards
• Manage stock control and reconcile with data systems
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and transport companies
• Plan work rotations, assign tasks, and evaluate results
• Maintain a safe work environment and enforce safety procedures
• Coordinate operations with supervisors and managers
• Keep records of employee attendance and hours
• Analyze charts, work orders, production schedules, and reports to determine requirements and evaluate outputs
• Maintain operations data and prepare management reports
• Set standards, budgets, and production goals based on policies, equipment, labor, and workload

Requirements

• 5-8 years of successful hands-on experience in warehouse operations in a lead or supervisory role
• Must pass background check and drug screening
• Experience with warehouse management software and databases
• Leadership skills and ability to manage staff
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Inventory management skills
• Ability to perform well under pressure
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly
• Computer and internet fluency
• Manual dexterity to operate equipment and tools

Education

Work Environment
