Job summary

Mr. Greens Produce is seeking a proactive Warehouse Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and shipping.

You will lead warehouse staff, schedule tasks, and ensure safety and OSHA compliance, while delivering timely, accurate results for our grocery, restaurant, and hotel clients. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of warehouse management experience, familiarity with WMS, and a collaborative approach to coordinating across departments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of warehouse management experience in produce or perishable goods
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software; knowledge of safety regulations
• Strong knowledge of inventory systems and warehouse management software
• Ability to work effectively with colleagues across departments
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and operate in 35–70 degree environments

Responsibilities

• Manage all warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory control, and shipping of produce.
• Supervise and train warehouse staff, including scheduling and performance reviews, and enforce safety compliance.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Prepare reports on warehouse performance, inventory status, and operational issues.
• Develop associates through training on policies and procedures.
• Implement and manage inventory control systems, conduct regular stock counts and audits to maintain accuracy.

Overview

Mr. Greens has proudly grown into one of the largest privately-owned produce distributors in Florida. With deliveries 365-days a year, 7-days a week and multiple runs per day, Mr. Greens has set the gold standard for service. Mr. Greens serves a large variety of clients, including restaurants, hotels, country clubs, caterers, grocery stores and retail outlets.

Accountabilities

• Manage all warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory control, and shipping of produce.
• Supervise and train warehouse staff, including scheduling, performance reviews, and safety compliance.

• Responsible for associate development through training on policy & procedures.
• Implement and manage inventory control systems, conducting regular stock counts and audits to maintain accuracy and prevent stock discrepancies.

Required Skills And Qualifications

• 2+ years of warehouse management experience, preferably in the produce or perishable goods industry
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software; familiarity with safety regulations and best practices.
• Strong knowledge of inventory systems and warehouse management software.
• Must be able to work effectively with other employees, and other departments within the company.
• Must be able to climb, stoop, kneel, and reach.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work in 35 to 70-degree temperatures.
