Job summary

Mr. Greens Produce in Houston, TX is seeking a Day Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put away, transfers, and restock, while leading a team to deliver exceptional service to our broad customer base.

The role requires 1–2 years of warehousing management experience, preferred fresh produce experience, and the ability to lift 50 pounds and operate Power Pallet Jacks in a food environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of warehousing management experience.
• Fresh produce experience preferred.
• Power Pallet Jacks required.
• Experience in the food industry.
• Ability to work with others and departments.
• Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, and reach.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.
• Able to work in 35–70 degree temperatures.

• Manage warehouse operations including returns, receiving, put away, transfers, restock, freight, parcels, and conversion.
• Lead and develop the warehouse team to deliver unparalleled customer service.
• Maintain high levels of accuracy
• Produce regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
• Responsible for associate development through training on policy & procedures. Creates a cohesive organization by keeping lines of communication open and directs workforce to insure efficient workflow.

Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated Day Warehouse Supervisor in Houston, TX.

Mr. Greens has proudly grown into one of the largest privately-owned produce distributors in Texas. With deliveries 365-days a year, 7-days a week and multiple runs per day, Mr. Greens has set the gold standard for service. Mr. Greens serves a large variety of clients, including restaurants, hotels, country clubs, caterers, grocery stores and retail outlets.

Responsibilities

• Manage operations of the warehouse, including returns, receiving, put away, transfers, restock, freight, parcels, and conversion.
• Lead and develop the warehouse team to deliver unparalleled customer service.

Requirements

• 1 – 2 years of previous warehousing managing experience.

• Must be able to climb, stoop, kneel, and reach.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work in 35 to 70-degree temperatures.
