Job summary

Mr. Greens Produce in Houston seeks a motivated Receiver to unload incoming produce, verify item quality, and prepare stock for shelving in a refrigerated warehouse.

You will move full cases using a pallet jack, stack on pallets, wrap bundles, and load trailers as needed. We offer paid time off, health insurance, and other benefits to support your work and safety.

Qualifications

• Warehouse experience is required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift certification is required.
• Electric pallet jack operation is required.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Unloading incoming produce and verifying items.
• Receiving, unpacking, breaking down pallets, and stocking in coolers.
• Maintain detailed inbound/outbound shipment logs.
• Communicate variances and quality issues with relevant departments.
• Work in a refrigerated warehouse (45-55°F).

We are seeking highly motivated Receivers to come join our Houston team!

Overview

Mr. Greens has proudly grown into one of Florida's largest privately‑owned produce distributors. With deliveries 365‑days a year, 7‑days a week, and multiple runs per day, Mr. Greens has set the gold standard for service. Mr. Greens serves many clients, including restaurants, hotels, country clubs, caterers, grocery stores, and retail outlets.

Summary

Mr. Greens is looking for a highly motivated and dedicated Receiver that can work individually slotting full‑case grocery, frozen, and/or perishable products from warehouse pick slots using a pallet jack or other equipment. You will then fit the items on a pallet, plastic wrap the bundles, transport pallets to a shipping dock and in some cases load them onto a trailer for delivery to customers. Responsibilities

• Responsible for unloading incoming produce.
• Ensures the accuracy and the quality of the items received.
• Receiving, unpacking, breaking down pallets, as well as preparing produce for stocking in coolers.
• Responsible for maintaining a detailed log of outbound and inbound shipment documents.
• Communicate and address variances, quality issues, and concerns with relevant departments to help identify the causes and implement sustainable corrective action.
• This job operates within a refrigerated warehouse, where temperatures range from 45‑55°F.

Qualifications

• Warehouse experience 1 year (required)
• High school diploma, GED (required)
• Forklift certified (required)
• Electric pallet jack (required)
• OSHA 10 or 20 certified (preferred but not required)
• Able to work overtime and weekends
