Job summary

Mr. Greens Produce is seeking a Night Crew Selector to efficiently pick full-case grocery, frozen, and perishable items from warehouse slots. You will palletize, wrap, and move bundles to the shipping dock, with occasional loading onto trailers for delivery.

Safety remains the top priority for all staff. Responsibilities include handling in multi-temperature environments, using pallet jacks or forklifts, and verifying quantities for accurate, damage-free shipments.

Qualifications

• Required to be punctual.
• Forklift/pallet jack 2 year experience.
• Must pass a drug test.
• Available to work on weekends.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, sort and move products by hand or with basic equipment.
• Work in multi-temperature environments.
• Select merchandise for shipment and stack on pallets using a pallet jack or forklift.
• Use a pick sheet to locate items inside the warehouse.
• Breakdown and restock merchandise from pallets.
• Verify quantities and ensure safe, accurate picks.
• Keep the warehouse tidy and report damaged equipment.
• Maintain a food-safe environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

We are looking for a motivated Night Crew Selector!

Overview

Mr. Greens has proudly grown into one of the largest privately-owned produce distributors in Florida, Georgia and Texas. With deliveries 365-days a year, 7-days a week and multiple runs per day, Mr. Greens has set the gold standard for service. Mr. Greens serves a large variety of clients, including restaurants, hotels, country clubs, caterers, grocery stores and retail outlets.

Summary

Mr. Greens is looking for highly motivated and dedicated Selectors that can work individually selecting full-case grocery, frozen, and/or perishable products from warehouse pick slots using a pallet jack or other equipment. You will then fit the items on a pallet plastic wrap the bundles, transport pallets to shipping dock and in some cases, load them onto a trailer to delivery to customers. All employees are expected to make safety their top priority.

Accountabilities

• Perform general physical activities load, unload, sort and move products and materials by hand or using basic material handling equipmen
• Perform tasks in multi-temperature environments
• Select merchandise for shipment and stack on pallet neatly by using a pallet jack or forklift
• Use a pick sheet to find out individual items inside warehouse
• Breakdown and restack merchandise from pallets
• Verify quantity of the products
• Ensure items pick accurately and safely to prevent damage
• Keep warehouse tidy by picking up scrap wood, paper, plastic wrappers, and broken pallets
• Maintaining a food-safe environment
• Report any damaged equipment to shift supervisor or maintenance staff
• Other duties as assigned.
