Burlington Stores in Edgewater Park Township, NJ, is seeking a Warehouse Management System Analyst to define and implement best practices across core supply chain functions. You will be the primary liaison between business users and IT, analyzing needs and configuring WMOS to improve efficiency.

The role requires a BA/BS, SQL skills, experience with Manhattan Open Systems, and the ability to manage projects and provide cross‑functional support across East/West Coast operations.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Business, Logistics, Engineering, IT or closely related field.
• Strong SQL writing skills and data analysis ability.
• Experience in business process analysis and requirements gathering.
• Familiar with Retail WMS, modification specs, test planning and scripting.
• Proficiency with Excel and Word for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute analysis and implementation of WMOS functionality with users and IT.
• Configure WMOS locations, printers, wave templates, and maintain logs.
• Collaborate with Operations to optimize processes aligned to system activity.
• Translate user needs into functional requirements and document gaps.
• Manage supply chain projects and provide tiered support across shifts.
• Participate in system issue resolution and diagnostics for WMOS.

Position OverviewWe are hiring a Warehouse Managment System Analyst to define, develop, and implement standardized best practices across core Supply Chain functions—optimizing existing systems to maximize efficiency and performance. In this role, you’ll act as the primary point of contact for the user community, supporting issue validation, scoping, and resolution while ensuring seamless communication between business users and the IT organization.This position requires a self-driven individual who can operate independently and strategically across all phases of business process design and analysis. You’ll collaborate closely with Operations Managers and Supervisors, providing solutions that enhance operational effectiveness and deliver measurable results.A Day in the LifePlan, execute analysis and implementation of future functionality usage within the WMOS product in concert with business users and IT membersImplement WM Configurations; locations, printers, wave templates, etc. and maintain the configuration logPartner with Operations to trouble shoot and optimize operational processes by understanding their connection to system activitiesProvide critical data for business and translate to DC staff in a practical manner, partnering to develop recommendations and solutionsSmoothly interface with business partners to elicit and document requirements that may cross multiple functional areas and identify gapsDocument complex process modeling and translate user needs into business and functional requirementsResolve differences and conflict using fact-based arguments in a positive mannerManage projects involving supply chainPersuade others when discussing complex ideasProvide on and off hour support as necessary for both East and West Coast operationsParticipate in functional portion of system issue resolution.
