Job summary

Burlington Stores seeks a PLM Process Analyst to advance product lifecycle processes within Merchant Import Operations. You will coordinate portfolio workflows, track development initiatives, and provide leadership with execution visibility.

The role focuses on consolidating inputs from Merchandising, Planning, and cross-functional teams, maintaining calendars, and supporting governance and cadence for seasonal cycles. A strong analytics and process-improvement mindset is essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; preferred fields include Product Development, Supply Chain Management, or related disciplines.
  • 3+ years in product development, brand management, retail operations, supply chain, or related field.
  • Advanced experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools; PLM system experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • PD Portfolio Tracking & Visibility: maintain trackers, provide progress updates, and highlight risks to leadership.
  • Prioritization & Planning Coordination: consolidate inputs and maintain the 12–18 month PD pipeline.
  • Production Calendar Support: track milestones and drive on-time completion.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: facilitate sessions with Merchandising, Supply Chain, Creative, and Marketing.
  • Process Documentation & Improvement: document workflows and support rollout of new tools.
  • Reporting & Insights: develop dashboards and summaries for leadership reviews.

Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly organized and proactive PLM Process Analyst to support and drive execution of product lifecycle processes within the Merchant Import Operations team.Reporting to the PLM Manager, this role is responsible for coordinating portfolio workflows, maintaining visibility to product development initiatives, and supporting prioritization and governance processes. The Analyst plays a key role in ensuring that cross-functional inputs are consolidated, timelines are tracked, and leadership has clear visibility into execution status.This role operates at the center of execution—driving coordination, insights, and process adherence while influencing cross-functional teams.A Day in the LifePD Portfolio Tracking & Visibility (20%)Maintain trackers for in-flight and pipeline PD initiativesProvide updates on progress, upcoming demand, and key risksHighlight gaps, tradeoffs, and capacity issues to leadershipEnsure data accuracy and consistency across portfolio reportingPrioritization & Planning Coordination (20%)Coordinate logistics and materials for seasonal prioritization cyclesConsolidate inputs across Merchandising, Planning, and cross-functional teamsMaintain the rolling PD pipeline (12–18 months)Prepare presentations and materials for leadership reviewsProduction Calendar Support (20%)Maintain and update the production calendar and milestone tracking toolsTrack deliverables and ensure alignment to timelinesFollow up with teams to drive on-time completion of milestonesEscalate risks and delays as neededCross-Functional Coordination (15%)Facilitate working sessions and track action items across teamsPartner with Merchandising, Supply Chain, Creative, and Marketing teamsEnsure clear communication and alignment on deliverables and timelinesSupport day-to-day operational execution across stakeholdersProcess Documentation & Improvement (15%)Document workflows, tools, and processesIdentify inefficiencies and recommend improvementsSupport rollout and adoption of new processes and toolsMaintain process documentation and training materialsBuild and maintain shared templates, trackers, and reference materialsSupport development of centralized PD resources for teamsEnsure tools are accessible, accurate, and up to dateReporting & Insights (10%)Prepare and maintain reporting related to Product Development initiatives, portfolio performance, project status, and key business metrics.Compile and analyze data related to owned brands, licensed brands, and royalty programs to identify trends, variances, performance gaps, and emerging opportunities.Support recurring business reviews by evaluating sales, profitability, royalty, and brand performance data and summarizing findings for leadership.Develop dashboards, trackers, and reporting tools that provide visibility into project progress, portfolio health, resource demand, and business performance.Partner with the Product Development Manager to translate data into actionable insights that support planning, prioritization, and process improvement efforts.You'll Come WithBachelor’s degree required.
