Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Fort Worth, TX is hiring a Permanent Full Time Warehouse Maintenance Technician. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing warehousing equipment to keep operations running smoothly.

You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, perform preventive maintenance, and support safety and quality initiatives. The position offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities within a growing US distribution network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 8-10 years plant/warehouse general maintenance experience, including electrical and mechanical repair and trouble-shooting
• Has the ability to make quick, reliable decisions that represent both the customer and Ryder
• Good organizational, communication, and planning skills
• Experience operating forklift equipment required

Responsibilities

• Responding to unplanned equipment breakdowns during production
• Troubleshoot, disassemble and reassemble manufacturing equipment
• Maintain material handling equipment such as conveyors, paint systems, stackers, grinders and forklifts
• Adhering to established safety procedures
• Performs maintenance and trouble-shooting functions on all warehousing equipment independently and effectively
• Maintains and troubleshoots plant utility systems including fire protection, water, electrical, air, and vacuum as applicable

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay: $30.00 per hour
• Schedule: Split Shift Tuesday -Thursday 9:00 am - 8:00 pm

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 8-10 years plant/warehouse general maintenance experience, including eletrical and mechanical repair and trouble-shooting
• Has the ability to make quick, reliable decisions that represent both the customer and Ryder
• Good organizational, communication, and planning skills
• Vocational or Technical Certification preferred
• Experience operating forklift equipment required
• Equipment certification may be required

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance and trouble-shooting functions on all warehousing equipment in an independent and effective manner
• Maintains and trouble-shoots plant utility systems including fire protection, water, electrical, air, and vacuum as applicable
• Understands shop maintenance, parts inventory, parts ordering, and plant reporting systems
• Performs routine forklift repairs
• Maintains batteries and related equipment
• Perfoms routine Preventive Maintenance (PM) and maintains records of repairs
• If required, provides training, including aspects of safety, quality, sanitation, and efficiency of packaging/warehouse equipment, for operations associates
• Additional duties as assigned, overtime as needed
