Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Warehouse Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance Technician. You will perform maintenance on warehousing equipment and plant utilities, including electrical and mechanical repairs and troubleshooting.

This role supports clean, safe facilities for a reliable supply chain. The position offers second shift 2:00pm–10:30pm, weekly pay, OT, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401K, and paid training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 8-10 years plant/warehouse general maintenance experience, including electrical and mechanical repair and troubleshooting.
• Ability to make quick, reliable decisions representing customer and Ryder.
• Good organizational, communication, and planning skills.
• Experience operating forklift equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance and troubleshooting on warehousing equipment independently.
• Maintains plant utility systems including fire protection, water, electrical, air, and vacuum as applicable.
• Understands shop maintenance, parts inventory, ordering, and plant reporting systems.
• Performs routine forklift repairs and maintains batteries and related equipment.
• Performs Preventive Maintenance and maintains records of repairs.
• Provides training on safety, quality, sanitation, and efficiency if required.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay $30.00 per hour
• Additional Pay: $2.00 per hour when assigned to second shift
• Overtime Pay $45.00 per hour
• Schedule: Second Shift Monday - Friday 2:00pm - 10:30pm
• OT is available

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 8-10 years plant/warehouse general maintenance experience, including eletrical and mechanical repair and trouble-shooting
• Has the ability to make quick, reliable decisions that represent both the customer and Ryder
• Good organizational, communication, and planning skills
• Vocational or Technical Certification preferred
• Experience operating forklift equipment required
• Equipment certification may be required

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance and trouble-shooting functions on all warehousing equipment in an independent and effective manner
• Maintains and trouble-shoots plant utility systems including fire protection, water, electrical, air, and vacuum as applicable
• Understands shop maintenance, parts inventory, parts ordering, and plant reporting systems
• Performs routine forklift repairs
• Maintains batteries and related equipment
• Perfoms routine Preventive Maintenance (PM) and maintains records of repairs
• If required, provides training, including aspects of safety, quality, sanitation, and efficiency of packaging/warehouse equipment, for operations associates
• Additional duties as assigned, overtime as needed
