Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Permanent Full Time Warehouse Maintenance Technician for a 2nd shift in Northlake, Texas. The role offers weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package, including health, vision, and 401(k) with company match.

Responsibilities include maintenance and repairs of warehouse equipment, overseeing contractors, and adhering to safety and preventative maintenance procedures. The ideal candidate has a strong maintenance background and good planning and communication

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong background in maintenance repair and preventive maintenance programs.
• Good organizational, communication, and planning skills.
• Basic computer and parts inventory system skills.
• Aptitude to investigate and problem-solve various mechanical issues.

Responsibilities

• Complete all routine lubrications, repairs and troubleshooting tasks of mechanical warehouse equipment.
• Assist and monitor all work being performed by outside contractors.
• Maintain inventory controls for cost effective operations.
• Schedule and complete preventative maintenance procedures.
• Assure safety standards are used which comply with all company, local, city, state and federal guidelines.
• Monitor and maintain grounds and building systems.
• Depending on location, employee may be required to operate equipment and may be required to be equipment certified.
• Special projects and other responsibilities as may be determined.

Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Warehouse Maintenance Technician in Northlake, Texas

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay $26.50 per hour.
• Additional Pay: $1.00 per hour shift premium
• Overtime Pay $39.75 per hour
• Schedule: 2nd shift Monday - Friday 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm; must be flexible, hours may vary and may include some weekend hours.
