Job summary

McLane is seeking a Warehouse Maintenance II teammate to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on material handling equipment and related systems. You’ll diagnose issues, source parts, and support building infrastructure while ensuring safety and efficiency across the distribution center.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of industrial maintenance and 2+ years of MHE maintenance, with electrical schematics literacy and OSHA knowledge.

Qualifications

• Technical degree required; training preferred.
• 3+ years of professional industrial maintenance experience.
• 2+ years of material handling equipment maintenance experience.
• Read and understand electrical schematics.
• Familiar with OSHA regulations.
• Basic computer skills and experience with maintenance databases (MP2, DataStream 7i, Maintenance Connection).
• Ability to read, write and understand English for safety and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on material handling equipment.
• Maintain other distribution center equipment (refrigeration, plumbing, lighting, doors, air systems, racking, washers, painting).
• Analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot malfunctions from specifications.
• Research parts and tools; weld and fabricate as needed.
• Ensure spare parts usage, inventory and labor are accurately tracked.
• Work safely to prevent injuries and damage to products and equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
