McLane Company, Inc. in Danville, IL is seeking a Maintenance II to troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on material handling equipment and facility systems.

The role may train junior mechanics and support building maintenance. The position offers a $21.63 per hour pay, Monday–Friday 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm, comprehensive benefits starting after 60 days, vacation and sick leave accrual from day one, holidays after 90 days, and additional programs such as pet insurance and tuition

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience with forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Read and understand electrical schematics.
• Familiar with OSHA regulations.
• Basic computer skills and maintenance databases.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on material handling equipment.
• Maintain other distribution center equipment (refrigeration, plumbing, lighting, doors, air systems, racking, washers, painting).
• Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions using specifications.
• Research parts and tools; weld and fabricate as needed.
• Track spare parts usage, inventory and labor actions.
• Work safely to prevent injury to people and products.
• Other duties may be assigned.
