Base pay range

$17.00/hr - $19.00/hr

Job Title: Machine Operator (2nd Shift) - Jacksonville, FL

The machine operator must understand and utilize all equipment they are trained to operate. Follow all Safety and Maintenance required to perform their daily duties. Efficiently and effectively control the flow of all work orders in their area. Strong tape measure and shop math skills I.E fractions to decimals, are a must and will be tested for prior to hire.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Correctly record all production processes in our ERP system as well as all written requirement of the work orders.
• Efficient and safe operation of equipment.
• Actively take part of “in process” work inspections.
• Meet all daily schedule requirements.
• Maintain inventory accuracy.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance and maintain checklists for such.
• Understand capacities and capabilities of all equipment they operate.
• Utilize and maintain tools provided for the operation of all equipment.
• Record the use of consumables and maintain inventory of such required in the operation of production equipment.
• Understand and work within all company safety and quality policies and procedures.
• Full comprehension of all company inventory control process and procedures.

Be a team player and be willing to cross train and learn other functions within the operation to support co-workers.

Education requirements:

- High School Diploma or GED

- Must speak, read and write English.
