Job summary

Ivoclar NA in Amherst, NY is seeking a Warehouse Support Rep to perform daily driving and safety inspections of the company vehicle, transport goods to post office, Bank, external warehouses, Ivoclar Mississauga Office, and various vendors. You will also manage archives, hazardous material storage, and production order assembly.

The role requires a minimum high school diploma, proficiency with Excel and Outlook, prior warehousing experience, and strong communication/leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Excel and Outlook required.
• Prior warehousing experience required.
• Product knowledge and SAP experience helpful, especially IMWM functions.
• Proven communication/leadership skills and abilities required.
• Must satisfy all driving requirements according to CFR, insurance requirements, and ability to pass a DOT Physical.
• Experience using a hand-held scanner a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily driving and safety inspection of company vehicle. Refuel company truck and vehicles while maintaining cleanliness inside and out.
• Transport goods to post office, Bank, external warehouses, Ivoclar Mississauga Office, and various vendors.
• Execute movement and storage of archives and maintain Archive box listing spreadsheet.
• Execute hazardous material storage and disposal.
• Execute vehicle required fees (tolls, registrations, DOT related requirements).
• Execute the assembly of production orders.
• Execute the replenishment of appropriate items before picking, packing and shipping teams arrive.
• Execute cost center expense of parts for shipping boxes for distribution.
• Monitor working area to maintain an acceptable level of LEAN 5S by ensuring a clean and safe work environment, keeping workstations neat, aisles and pathways clear of debris and clutter and labeling items/areas where applicable.
