Job summary

Ravago Americas seeks a Shipping & Receiving Supervisor to lead daily warehouse logistics, oversee inbound/outbound shipments, and ensure inventory accuracy. The role emphasizes documentation, safety, and adherence to quality standards within a busy material flow environment.

The ideal candidate will manage a team, coordinate with receiving, inventory, and production, and uphold continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; minimum of 4 years in a similar role with people management.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to read BOLs, packing slips, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise shipping operations: prep, staging, loading outbound shipments and verify documents (BOLs, packing lists, labels).
• Oversee receiving operations: unload, inspect, document incoming materials and coordinate with inventory/production teams.
• Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and proper material flow from receiving to storage to production.
• Lead and schedule team members; plan equipment usage and provide coaching and performance feedback.
• Oversee Quality Management System adherence and conduct internal audits; manage nonconformances.
• Support Health, Safety, & Environmental compliance and enforce safety policies.
• Train employees on procedures, equipment, and safety practices; track development of associates.
• Maintain management communications and prepare KPI reports; participate in meetings.
