Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to manage labor planning, inbound/outbound activities, and customer communications daily. You will hire, train, and schedule staff while conducting performance reviews and ensuring accurate receiving, warehousing, and shipping in line with company goals.

You will lead daily staff meetings, optimize productivity, suggest process improvements, and prioritize tasks based on time and resources. Strong MS Office, RF scanners, and WMS knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3 years’ experience in a logistics/distribution environment.
• 1 year supervisory experience.
• MHE certification / basic MHE operation preferred.
• Forklift training completed.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point).
• RF Scanners and WMS functions.

Responsibilities

• Supervising labor management and planning of inbound, outbound, product slotting and customer communication activities daily.
• Hiring and training, planning and assigning daily work, conducting performance appraisals.
• Supervising the receiving, warehousing and shipping of products in accordance with company objectives.
• Conducting staff meetings to review daily/weekly work activities.
• Managing operations to meet prescribed productivity and service goals.
• Providing ideas and suggestions for more efficient operations.
• Assessing priorities based on time sensitivity and available resources.
• Delivering results by leveraging the skills of the right people.
