Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced logistics supervisor to manage day-to-day site operations, including warehousing, receiving, and shipping. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, with a focus on accuracy and timely task completion.

The role entails planning inbound/outbound volume, space utilization, and customer communications, while leading a team, ensuring SOP adherence, and maintaining clear communication with senior management.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 7 years’ experience in logistics/distribution/relevant environment.
• 5 years’ experience in a supervisory role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and accomplish job tasks in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for day-to-day site Operations, including supervising warehousing, receiving, and shipping of product
• Planning of inbound and outbound volume, customer communication activities, space utilization & management
• People management responsibilities include hiring and training, labor management planning, conducting performance appraisals, addressing performance issues, and resolving problems
• Ensures effective training is delivered to team members
• Responsible for ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintaining effective communication with senior management
