Job summary

Cyanotech Corporation is seeking a Warehouse/Materials Clerk for our California facility. The role involves picking and packing orders, shipping and receiving, inventory control, and ensuring GMP-compliant handling. The position is full-time, non-exempt, with hourly pay in the $20–$24 range.

Responsibilities include data entry, inventory reconciliation, and coordination with carriers to maintain quality service while supporting departmental goals.

Qualifications

• One year of work experience in a warehouse environment.
• Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Proficiency with PC-based applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Forklift operating skills and certification per safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Processes bulk and packaged product orders within KPI guidelines.
• Prepare and handle domestic and international shipment documentation.
• Receive raw materials, supplies and finished goods.
• Input data accurately and maintain records.
• Perform and reconcile inventories.
• Maintain warehouse space and replenish supplies and equipment.
• Assist in resolving materials issues and ensure GMP-compliant handling.
